BIOSTATISTICIAN

Senior Biostatistician (Contract) – Belgium | 6-Month Project | Hybrid Working

We are currently partnering with a global life sciences organisation seeking an experienced Senior Biostatistician to join a high-performing clinical development team on an initial 6-month contract basis in Belgium.

This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge clinical research programmes within an international and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide statistical expertise across clinical development projects
• Support study design, protocol development, and sample size calculations
• Create and review Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs)
• Perform statistical analyses and interpret clinical trial data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Management, Clinical Operations, and Medical Writing
• Contribute to regulatory submissions and health authority interactions
• Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards

Required Experience

• Degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related scientific discipline
• Strong experience within biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO environments
• Advanced SAS programming skills and/or strong R experience
• Solid understanding of clinical trial methodology and regulatory guidelines
• Experience supporting Phase II and/or Phase III studies
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English required

Preferred Experience

• CDISC standards knowledge (SDTM/ADaM)
• Experience in oncology, immunology, or rare disease studies
• Prior experience within international clinical programmes
