We’re supporting an innovative company operating within the Cybersecurity & Security Technology space, developing secure embedded platforms and next-generation connected devices used in mission-critical environments.

As part of continued growth, they’re looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their engineering team in Antwerp.

You’ll be working across low-level software development, embedded Linux platforms, and secure system architecture for highly reliable products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain embedded software in C/C++ for Linux-based systems
• Work on BSP development, device drivers, and low-level platform integration
• Customize and maintain Embedded Linux distributions using Yocto and Buildroot
• Support system bring-up, debugging, and performance optimization
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and cybersecurity teams
• Contribute to secure software design and system hardening
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration activities

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Embedded Software Development
• Commercial experience with C and/or C++
• Good knowledge of Embedded Linux environments
• Experience with Yocto and/or Buildroot
• Understanding of low-level interfaces and hardware interaction
• Familiarity with debugging tools and cross-compilation environments
• Comfortable working within Agile engineering teams
