Planner / Scheduler Lead – Data Centre

A leading international engineering and project delivery consultancy is seeking a Planner / Scheduler Lead to support a hyperscale Data Center project in Mons, Belgium. This is a key role within the project controls function, ideal for an experienced planner with strong expertise in construction scheduling, Primavera P6, and complex project delivery.
The Opportunity
This role will see you take ownership of planning and scheduling across the construction lifecycle, ensuring robust programme development, performance tracking, and alignment with project objectives.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and client stakeholders, playing a central role in driving project performance, identifying risks, and ensuring timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed construction schedules for complex capital projects
- Lead the implementation and management of project controls tools and systems
- Perform Critical Path Analysis and scenario planning
- Lead and facilitate Interactive Planning Workshops (including collaborative planning approaches)
- Engage with project teams from early stages through to delivery
- Produce regular schedule performance reports, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions
- Define, monitor, and report on key project milestones
- Liaise with project management teams to provide clear schedule status updates
- Establish resource requirements aligned to programme delivery
- Support constructability reviews and programme optimisation
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Ensure project objectives and timelines are aligned and achieved
- Support project execution in line with quality management systems
About You
- Proven experience in project planning / scheduling on complex projects
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (essential)
- Strong experience scheduling construction phases of major projects
- Solid understanding of design, engineering, and construction sequencing
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and progress tracking
- Exposure to full project lifecycle, including home office engineering phases
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Degree in Construction, Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience with Last Planner methodology (advantageous)
- EU Passport (essential)
