Commissioning Manager (Client side) – Data Centre Project - Contract (18 months rolling) Mons, Belgium | Full-time | Mission Critical / Data Centres A leading international engineering and project delivery consultancy is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager (Cx Lead) to support a large-scale data centre construction project in Mons, Belgium. This is a high-impact site-based role, ideal for candidates with strong commissioning experience across mission-critical environments. The Opportunity As Commissioning Manager, you will take ownership of commissioning strategy and execution on-site, ensuring systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client expectations. You will lead commissioning activities across either: Process & Mechanical systems, or Electrical systems (including energisation) This role requires a hands-on leader who can coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage commissioning plans, and ensure delivery to programme, quality, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement the Commissioning (Cx) Plan aligned with client strategic goals Lead all on-site commissioning activities, including witnessing installation and system testing Prepare and execute Cx protocols specific to project requirements Manage and coordinate energisation activities where applicable Act as the primary representative for the commissioning team in: Client meetings Site visits Audits and troubleshooting sessions Collaborate closely with client engineers, project managers, and stakeholders Ensure alignment with engineering, quality, and production requirements Monitor and control commissioning budgets (hours) in line with project expectations Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and client compliance standards About You Proven experience as a Commissioning Lead / Manager on mission-critical or data centre projects Strong background in either: Mechanical/process commissioning, or Electrical commissioning (including energisation) Demonstrated ability to deliver commissioning activities across multiple complex projects Strong technical competence with a hands-on, problem-solving approach Ability to lead teams and coordinate across disciplines on-site Excellent understanding of health & safety practices and client standards Strong communication skills and ability to represent the commissioning function at senior level Why Apply?
