The project:

Our client in the banking sector, is seeking an experienced Project Manager Risk and Finance to strengthen their team.

The consultant will be responsible for:

• Providing end-to-end project management , ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline, while maintaining a holistic view of the project landscape;
• Coordinating cross-functional collaboration , acting as a connector between different business stakeholders and technical teams;
• Supporting project governance , including coordination meetings, SteerCo reporting, and alignment with Belfius project managers;
• Balancing technology enablement with business needs , ensuring readiness and prioritization of deliverables;
• Aligning with IT on architectural vision and technical design , ensuring coherence between business objectives and technical execution;
• Maintaining stakeholder engagement , fostering transparent communication and ensuring decisions are well-supported and broadly endorsed.

Is this you?

The minimum requirements for the profile are:

• Experienced project manager in transformation projects;
• Strong analytical and business analysis skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex topics;
• Affinity with Business & IT landscape architectures;
• Strong communication skills, with a structured and results-oriented mindset;
• Ownership of planning, administration, and follow-up, ensuring smooth coordination with other project teams;
• Positive and team-oriented attitude, with the ability to build bridges between stakeholders;
• Proactive onboarding support for new colleagues to help them integrate quickly into the project context.

The nice to haves are:

• Knowledge of FINREP, COREP, CRR III, IFRS, or the BIRD framework;
• Experience with stakeholder management across different levels;
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies;
• Affinity with change management;
• Bilingual (Dutch-French).
