Compliance or Advocacy Specialist

A global high‑tech company at the forefront of the semiconductor equipment industry is looking for a Compliance or Advocacy Specialist to join its European QHSE team.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of product safety, environmental regulation, and global technology , supporting either:

• Product compliance for European, UK and Israeli markets, or
• Regulatory advocacy , representing industry interests in regulatory discussions and industry associations.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and assess product safety and environmental regulations (e.g. Machinery, EMC, REACH, CLP, WEEE, UK legislation)
• Evaluate regulatory risks and business impact
• Prepare clear technical reports and recommendations
• Collaborate with global product teams and internal stakeholders
• Support regulatory engagement, consultations, and industry working groups (advocacy focus)

What We’re Looking For

• University degree (PhD advantageous)
• Experience in compliance, regulated environments, or risk management
• Strong ability to understand and explain legislation and standards
• Clear communicator with strong attention to detail
• Fluent English (additional European language or Japanese a plus)
