Software Engineer


Nexeo is currently looking for a Software Engineer (Freelance or Permanent) to work on a long term project for a multinational.

Nexeo Belgium is a consultancy company that supports its clients in the banking, finance and insurance sectors in all phases of their transformation projects: from business consulting to the implementation of IT solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support the changes and the run of the application Dimension (from Simcorp)
  • Clearing out requirements with business on changes and creating a functional design of the implementation within Dimension.
  • Implementing and testing the business requirements and also support them when issues arise

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience as Software Engineer
  • Experience with vendor package implementation (data in/outflow, parameterization, implementation, ...)
  • Technical background : UAC/UDM (or other scheduling & file transfer systems), Perl scripting, Subversion, Jenkins, XML, XSLT, Fix protocol, Oracle and experience with deployment and release management. 
  • Experience with the communication server, middle office and back office activities (a.o. SWIFT) within Simcorp Dimension is required.
  • Experience/ know how on the domain of Asset Management/Capital Markets/Securities.
  • English is a must
  • Knowledge about Agile/Scrum, Jira and Kanoah
