Maintenance Engineer

A large meat processing facility in Antwerp is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to support reliability and maintenance activities across automated production and packaging lines.

The site operates high-volume processing equipment including conveyors, slicers, vacuum systems, pumps and automated packaging machinery within a temperature-controlled production environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across production and packaging systems
• Troubleshoot faults on conveyors, motors, pneumatic systems and processing equipment
• Support maintenance activities during production stoppages and planned shutdowns
• Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and improve reliability
• Support technical modifications and continuous improvement projects within the factory

Requirements

• Experience within industrial maintenance or food production environments
• Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with conveyors, motors, pneumatics and automated machinery
• Experience within meat, food or FMCG production is beneficial
• Dutch mandatory
