Electromechanical Design Engineer
Location: Roeselare, Belgium
Work Setup: Hybrid
Contract Type: Freelance / ZZP

A food machinery manufacturer in Roeselare is looking for an Electromechanical Design Engineer to support development of automated conveying and packaging systems for food production environments.
Projects involve stainless steel machinery, pneumatic systems and automated handling equipment.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop electromechanical designs for food production machinery
- Produce technical drawings and layouts using Inventor
- Support integration of motors, sensors and pneumatic systems
- Work closely with assembly and commissioning teams during machine build phases
- Support technical modifications and troubleshooting during testing activities
Requirements
- Experience within electromechanical or mechanical design engineering
- Strong experience with Inventor or SolidWorks
- Experience with industrial machinery or automated systems
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical system integration
- Dutch mandatory
