About the Role

We are hiring a Workplace Technology & Facilities Support Engineer to support enterprise workplace technologies, smart building infrastructure, physical security systems, and AV environments across corporate and manufacturing sites.

This is a hands-on onsite role combining Workplace IT Support, Facilities Technology, AV/VC Support, Smart Building Systems, and Physical Security Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and experience supporting enterprise workplace environments, conference room technologies, access control systems, and network-connected facilities infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Workplace Technology & IT Infrastructure

• Provide onsite technical support for workplace technologies and enterprise facilities systems.
• Support IT infrastructure across office and manufacturing environments.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, facilities departments, and third-party vendors.

Physical Security & Access Control

• Install, configure, and maintain:
• Access control systems
• Smart locks
• Wired and wireless barriers
• Automated entry systems
• Badge registration platforms
• Ensure operational reliability of building access systems across multiple sites.

CCTV & Emergency Infrastructure

• Deploy and support:
• CCTV surveillance systems
• Alarm servers
• Videophones
• Intercom / parlephone systems
• Fire safety monitoring systems
• Maintain emergency infrastructure including:
• Dead-man switches
• Emergency lighting
• Critical alerting systems

Network & Communication Systems

• Support fiber and copper cabling infrastructure.
• Maintain workplace communication systems including:
• Walkie-talkies
• DECT antenna systems
• Network-synchronized clock systems
• Troubleshoot connectivity and infrastructure-related issues.

AV, Conference Room & Collaboration Support

• Install and maintain:
• Conference room technologies
• Boardroom AV systems
• Videoconferencing equipment
• Presentation systems
• Cinema room environments
• Support portable and mobile audio systems for workplace operations and events.

Office Moves & Corporate Event Support

• Support office relocations and workspace reconfigurations.
• Handle workstation setups, IT relocations, and network adjustments during office moves.
• Provide IT and AV support for:
• Board meetings
• Town halls
• Corporate events
• Site activities and organizational gatherings

Training, Classroom & Lab Support

• Support classroom, laboratory, training, simulation, and e-learning environments.
• Maintain specialized educational and workplace training infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in Workplace Technology Support, Facilities IT Support, EUC Support, Desktop Support, or Smart Building environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• CCTV systems
• Access control systems
• AV / VC technologies
• Conference room support
• Workplace infrastructure technologies
• Good understanding of:
• Networking fundamentals
• Fiber and copper cabling
• Enterprise communication systems
• Experience supporting:
• Office moves
• Corporate events
• Multi-site enterprise environments
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer support skills.
• Ability to work independently in onsite enterprise environments.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in manufacturing or enterprise corporate environments.
• Familiarity with workplace automation and smart building technologies.
• Experience with vendor coordination and facilities operations.
• ITIL or enterprise support process knowledge is a plus.
