Maintenance Engineer – Utilities (Clean Environment) - Fluent Dutch Speaking
Type: Full-time
We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support and optimise utility systems within a clean, controlled environment . You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and compliance of critical installations such as HVAC and other site utilities.
Working closely with operations and engineering teams, you will drive continuous improvement, enhance maintenance strategies, and ensure minimal disruption to production and facility performance.
Analyse maintenance and reliability data (MTBF, MTTR, OEE) to identify improvement opportunities
Develop and optimise maintenance strategies (preventive, predictive, RCM)
Ensure continuity, quality, and compliance of maintenance processes
Drive performance improvements across utility systems (HVAC, water, compressed air, steam, power, sprinklers)
Support and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) following equipment failures
Support tendering and supplier selection for maintenance services
Collaborate with operational teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electromechanics, Energy Technology , or similar
Experience in maintenance engineering within an industrial or regulated environment
Strong knowledge of utility systems, including HVAC, water, compressed air, steam, and electrical systems
Experience with RCM, RCA, and maintenance performance management
Languages
Fluent in Dutch (shopfloor communication)
Good command of English (reporting and international collaboration)
The ability to translate data into actionable maintenance strategies
Confidence working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and external partners
