R&D Summer Internship – Smart Mineralisation, Adaptive Dosing & AI for Drinking Water Aqvita is developing next-generation water mineralisation technologies for purified, reverse osmosis (RO), and desalinated water. Through its patented MixFusion™ platform, Aqvita enables precise, real-time remineralisation of water with essential minerals such as magnesium and calcium, inspired by nature’s mineral balance while reducing dependence on packaged water and conventional supplements.
This 1 to 3-month(s) internship focuses on the development of intelligent mineral dosing systems combining water chemistry, sensor measurements, adaptive control algorithms, and AI-driven modelling. The project aims to improve the precision, stability, and predictability of mineral infusion into RO permeate under dynamic operating conditions.
The intern will contribute directly to the development of smart mineralisation technologies by combining experimental work with software development and data-driven modelling. A strong emphasis will be placed on adaptive dosing algorithms, sensor integration, data analysis, and AI-based prediction models for mineral dosing optimisation.
This internship is particularly suited for engineering or computer science students, or recent graduates, who are interested in applying programming and AI skills t o real-world physical systems and sustainability challenges.
Key Outcomes By the end of the internship, the candidate will have:
- Gained hands-on experience in applied water-tech R&D within a patented mineralisation platform.
- Worked on adaptive dosing systems for RO/desalinated water remineralisation.
- Developed and tested data-driven and AI-assisted dosing models.
