Freelance Cloud and DevOps Engineer - Long Term - Hybrid

Freelance DevOps & Cloud Engineer responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The role focuses on improving reliability, security, and operational efficiency while enabling modern DevOps practices and cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, or GCP using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, security, and high availability across environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement DevOps best practices and support microservices architectures.
• Implement and manage containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards.
• Stay current with cloud technologies, DevOps methodologies, and security best practices.

Experience

• Strong experience in DevOps and cloud engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Understanding of cloud security, networking, and operational best practices.
