Regulatory Transformation Consultant (Insurance)

As a Regulatory Transformation Consultant, you will help insurance organisations translate regulatory requirements into practical and sustainable transformation initiatives. You will work at the intersection of regulation, business change, and execution, ensuring compliance is effectively embedded within the organization.

Your Responsibilities

As a Regulatory Transformation Consultant, you will:

• Implement “compliance by design” principles within transformation projects related to areas such as AML, CFT, DORA, IDD, GDPR, CSRD, and other regulatory frameworks.
• Translate new or evolving insurance regulations into actionable transformation roadmaps.
• Support regulatory-driven change programs from design through implementation.
• Work hands-on within client compliance, transformation, or project teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement effective compliance solutions.
• Conduct compliance assessments at enterprise and business-unit level.
• Develop and improve policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Deliver training sessions and promote compliance awareness and best practices.
• Support the setup and implementation of effective and compliant operating models, including risk assessments, monitoring activities, advisory support, and reporting.

Key Duties

• Engage with a broad range of stakeholders across different functional areas.
• Stay informed on regulatory developments and market trends impacting the insurance sector.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of compliance and regulatory transformation services.
• Build strong client relationships and support business development initiatives.

Your Profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in compliance, risk consulting, business analysis, and/or project management within the insurance sector.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and the ability to interpret and apply legal requirements.
• Knowledge of multiple regulations, with a willingness to continue learning and developing expertise.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, combined with the ability to work autonomously.
• Fluent in English and either Dutch or French.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
• Analytical, solution-oriented, and results-driven approach.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced consulting environment.
