Freelance QHSE Engineer – Offshore Renewable Projects

Location: Belgium (remote-based with occasional travel)

Contract: 6 months (extension likely)

Engagement: Full-time (5 days per week)

Overview

We are currently seeking a Freelance QHSE Engineer to support a portfolio of offshore renewable energy projects across Europe.

This is a primarily remote role , providing onshore QHSE support to multiple active projects, with occasional travel to a regional office or project location as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide QHSE support across multiple offshore and marine projects
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Support delivery teams with risk assessments, QHSE documentation and method statements
• Act as a key onshore QHSE contact for offshore project teams

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in QHSE roles
• Background in offshore, marine, or energy environments
• Experience supporting survey, site investigation, or offshore project delivery
• Strong understanding of risk management and QHSE systems
• Fluent in English
