To strengthen our specialized team, Robert Half Talent Solutions is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter focused on Legal & Compliance profiles to support our clients across Belgium, looking for in-house legal counsels, lawyers or compliance officers.
Your role
This position combines two core dimensions: Recruiting and Client Development, offering a high level of autonomy, impact and long‑term relationship building.
1. Recruiting
You manage the full recruitment lifecycle for legal and compliance professionals:
- Sourcing and approaching candidates through various channels, like a large well-established internal candidate database, and also through online social networks like LinkedIn
- Conducting in‑depth interviews and assessing both technical expertise and career drivers and ambition
- Acting as a trusted career partner for candidates, with a strong focus on candidate experience
- Long‑term candidate follow‑up: each recruiter builds and manages their own candidate portfolio, enabling the development of strong, personal and lasting relationships
2. Client Relationship & Business Development
You are in regular contact with clients and actively contribute to business growth:
- Managing relationships with existing clients and developing new client partnerships
- Understanding clients’ legal needs, organizational culture and strategic challenges
- Advising clients on the legal recruitment market, profile availability and positioning
- Taking ownership of recruitment mandates from briefing to successful placement
Your profile
- Legal background: ideally a Master’s degree in Law (a Bachelor’s degree can also be considered)
- French native with excellent Dutch, or Dutch native with excellent French + a very good command of English (professional working level)
- A first relevant professional experience, either as a lawyer or in-house legal counsel, or already as a recruiter
- Strong interest in the legal market, people‑oriented, commercially minded and relationship‑driven
- Proactive, resilient and motivated to perform in a dynamic and demanding xqknzec environment
