AI Engineer (LLM / Agentic Systems)

We are looking for a talented AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-ready LLM agents and AI systems that drive real business impact. You will work at the intersection of AI, software engineering, and user experience, turning complex workflows into scalable, intelligent systems.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys not just experimenting with AI models, but shipping them into real-world environments and seeing them used in production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy production-ready LLM agents with multi-step reasoning and tool usage
• Develop and orchestrate agentic workflows using frameworks such as Pydantic AI
• Integrate LLMs (e.g. OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) into scalable, user-facing applications
• Build AI-powered automations across tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and browser environments
• Optimise system performance, cost, and reliability in production environments
• Implement best practices for monitoring, evaluation, and iteration of LLM systems
• Collaborate with engineers and end users to define requirements and deliver impactful AI solutions
• Continuously explore and apply the latest advancements in AI and agent-based systems

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related field
• 1+ year of experience in software engineering with a focus on AI or machine learning
• Strong programming skills in Python (experience with FastAPI is a plus)
• Hands-on experience working with LLMs and their APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Claude, Gemini)
• Understanding of prompt engineering techniques (e.g. few-shot learning, reasoning patterns)
• Experience building and deploying AI systems into production environments
• Familiarity with APIs, backend systems, and scalable architectures

Nice to Have

• Experience with agentic frameworks (e.g. Pydantic AI or similar)
• Familiarity with TypeScript / frontend integration (e.g. Next.js)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Knowledge of infrastructure tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)
• Experience with LLM evaluation, monitoring, and cost optimisation
• Background in B2B SaaS or early-stage/startup environments
