Senior Java Developer - 12 months - Brussels

One of our important clients is currently looking for a Senior Java Developer for a 12-month contract based in Brussels. Day rate is negotiable.
Hybrid Working | Minimum 2 Days Onsite
English (C1 Level Required)

Description below
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a large enterprise environment, supporting the development of robust backend services and RESTful APIs.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java/Spring Boot backend applications
Build and support scalable REST APIs and microservices
Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and technical teams
Conduct code reviews and promote development best practices
Support deployment, troubleshooting, and production stability
Contribute to technical documentation and solution design

Key Requirements

10+ years’ experience as a Java Developer
5+ years working with Spring Framework / Spring Boot, Microservices architecture
Strong experience integrating with SaaS solutions
Solid understanding of REST API design, JPA/Hibernate, Maven/Gradle, Unit & integration testing
Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP, collections, streams, and exception handling
English level C1 or equivalent
Available onsite at least 2 days per week
