Senior Software Engineer

I am collaborating with a sustainable energy dedicated to accelerating the transition to sustainable solutions across Europe and North America, delivering innovative, scalable technologies that support renewable energy generation, smart grids, and energy efficiency. I'm looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join the team in Brussels, in this role you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications that support critical energy systems and data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust .NET applications and services
• Lead the development of cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions
• Optimize application performance, security, and reliability
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in software development
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipeline improvements

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with .NET development (C#, ASP.NET Core)
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, DevOps, etc.)
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture and microservices design
• Experience with RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and distributed systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Fluency in English (French or Dutch is a plus)

Preferred

• Experience in the energy, sustainability, or utilities sector
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular)
