Area Sales Manager Central Europe
On behalf of Spiromatic , a leading international provider of integrated ingredient handling and fermentation systems for the industrial baking industry, we are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager Central Europe .
Spiromatic designs and delivers tailor-made automation solutions for the industrial baking industry. The systems support manufacturers of bread, rolls, buns, cookies, pizza, tortillas, pancakes, waffles and more, enabling efficient, hygienic and highly automated production .
With decades of industry expertise and a strong focus on innovation, Spiromatic partners with customers on complex, high-impact investment projects that deliver long-term operational value. To support continued growth in Europe, the company is strengthening its commercial team.
The Role
As Area Sales Manager Central Europe , you will be responsible for developing and expanding Spiromatic’s presence across the region, with a particular focus on German-speaking markets . You act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through complex investment decisions and building long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow sales with existing customers and new prospects across Central Europe
- Drive solution-based sales for complex, long-cycle CAPEX projects
- Manage the full sales process from initial contact through contract signature
- Work closely with Sales Support Engineering to ensure technically sound and commercially profitable proposals
- Build and maintain long-term relationships within the industrial baking and dough processing industry
- Develop and manage a strong and sustainable sales pipeline
- Represent Spiromatic at international trade fairs and industry events
- Provide structured market feedback and insights to management and sales & marketing teams
Your Profile
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of international technical B2B sales experience , preferably within industrial equipment or food processing
- Proven experience with long sales cycles and high-value CAPEX projects
- Strong analytical skills and a consultative, solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Results-driven with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within Europe
- Fluent in German and English ; Dutch is an asset
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and digital collaboration tools
