Cable Services Project Leader

Service Description

The Cable Services Project Leader will work on electrical infrastructure projects (380kV, 220kV, 150kV, 70kV and 36kV) related to CABLES.

This includes, among other things:

• Involvement in projects from definition through to completion:

participation in project definition, studies, design, ensuring project execution, and administrative close-out.

• Carrying out and supporting technical studies.
• Performing calculations, developing and monitoring project budgets and schedules while considering required/available resources and customer requests.
• Preparing tender documentation and participating in the procurement process.
• Leading and coordinating site execution in collaboration with Elia Group personnel, suppliers, contractors, customers, etc.
• Communication and reporting on project progress.

Depending on experience, these tasks will either be carried out independently or under supervision. The Cable Services Project Leader will receive an extensive training program internally.

Additional Requirements

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering, or equivalent through experience, with a strong interest in technology.

Experience in project management and/or site supervision is considered a plus.

Perfect knowledge of Dutch.

Knowledge of the second national language is a major advantage.

Interest in the energy sector.

Strong sense of responsibility and excellent organizational skills.

Good communication skills, confident/assertive personality, and customer-oriented mindset.

Strong teamwork skills with a good level of resourcefulness/problem-solving ability.
