Mission Context
The Digital Business Analyst contributes to the development and optimization of digital banking channels for professional customers, SMEs, and enterprises.
The role focuses on aligning business objectives with digital strategies by analyzing business needs, identifying innovative digital solutions, and ensuring successful delivery aligned with user and business expectations.
You will join a dynamic Daily Banking environment covering key banking topics such as Payments, Cards, and Accounts, within a highly collaborative ecosystem involving multiple stakeholders and Agile teams.
Function Description
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and customer needs
• Translate business expectations into detailed functional specifications for IT teams
• Conduct customer journey mapping, user story slicing, and OKR definition activities
• Engage and coordinate stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives, timelines, and delivery progress
• Identify and recommend efficient, user-centric, and achievable digital solutions
• Support the delivery and testing phases through business clarification and incident follow-up
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Channel Managers, Marketing teams, and Process teams
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and collaborative working sessions with business and IT stakeholders
• Prepare documentation, management presentations, mock-ups, concept designs, and MVP definitions
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives using Agile and collaborative methodologies
• Support decision-making through data analysis and business insights
Language Requirements
• English: Mandatory
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch and/or French required
Education
• Master’s degree
• Certifications related to Business Analysis, Design Thinking, Innovation, or Facilitation are considered a plus
Required Experience
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience as Business Analyst or Digital Business Analyst
• Proven experience in digital transformation projects within consulting or client-facing environments
Technical Skills
Mandatory:
• Strong expertise in requirements gathering and business analysis methodologies
• Experience with BPMN and process modeling
• Data analysis skills using Excel, Business Objects, or similar tools
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Agile delivery frameworks)
• Project management and workshop facilitation capabilities
• Experience building and validating business cases
• Familiarity with collaborative tools such as SharePoint and digital whiteboards
Nice to have:
• Experience with UX testing, concept design, and innovation methodologies
• Strong data-driven mindset and ability to leverage insights for decision-making
• Knowledge of banking products and daily banking topics (Payments, Cards, Accounts)
