SAP EAM Architect
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Architect to lead solution design and delivery within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role combining technical architecture with project oversight and business engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to define and drive the overall solution direction.
- Translate high-level strategic objectives into practical, scalable SAP EAM solutions.
- Define project milestones and deliverables, managing progress and reporting throughout the lifecycle.
- Identify, coordinate, and monitor project steps across workstreams.
- Gather and define functional requirements for maintenance planning in close collaboration with the Service department.
- Act as the primary point of coordination with maintenance and workshop managers.
- Take end-to-end ownership of delivering a complete, well-adopted solution within the Major Maintenance domain.
- Lead the rollout and embedding of new ways of working across the organisation.
- Manage relationships with a broad range of business owners and stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience as a specialist architect in one or more domains — such as ERP, networking, security, server infrastructure, application architecture, ECM platforms, or Data Warehouse/BI — or as a certified Enterprise Architect.
- Strong working knowledge of architecture modelling techniques including Archimate, TOGAF, UML, and Sparx EA.
- Broad architectural knowledge across multiple domains (infrastructure, application, security, data, process), with deep expertise in at least one.
- Solid understanding of project management disciplines including cost management, scheduling, coordination, planning, and estimation.
- Good general knowledge of business processes and how technology enables them.
- Fluency in Dutch at CEFR C2 level is essential for this role.
