Functional Analyst / Business Analyst - Long Term Freelance Mission!

Location: Brussels, Belgium, Hybrid

FLUENT Dutch Required!

We’re partnering with a collaborative Agile product team looking to strengthen its delivery capability with an experienced Functional Analyst / Business Analyst.

You’ll join a Scrum-based DevOps team responsible for applications used by self-employed customers to manage administrative and social security-related processes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Translating business requirements into clear user stories and functional specifications
• Working closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to support delivery flow
• Supporting backlog refinement and sprint preparation activities
• Participating in Scrum ceremonies and Agile delivery processes
• Conducting functional testing and validating delivered features
• Helping improve communication between business and technical teams
• Supporting applications throughout the full product lifecycle in a DevOps environment

What They’re Looking For

• Experience working as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst within Agile environments
• Strong experience writing user stories and gathering requirements
• Comfortable working closely with stakeholders and development teams
• Experience with functional testing / UAT activities
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Proactive and pragmatic mindset with a hands-on approach
• Dutch language skills are required
