ALT2026-0315 - Accountant Medior

We are looking for an Accountant Medior for a key client based in Belgium

Main tasks

• Independently manage a portfolio of clients across various sectors ( SMEs, liberal professions, sole traders …)
• Handle the full bookkeeping cycle: data entry, invoicing, accounts payable and receivable .
• Prepare and submit periodic VAT declarations and other tax obligations .
• Perform period-end closings and contribute to the preparation of annual financial statements.
• Maintain regular and direct contact with clients, responding to their accounting queries.
• Ensure full compliance with Belgian accounting standards and fiscal regulations .
• Work closely with colleagues and management to ensure quality and consistency across files

Requirements

Minimum experience

• 2 to 3 years of experience gained within an accounting firm or fiduciary environment

Knowledge and skills

• Proven experience managing multiple client files simultaneously and autonomously
• Good knowledge of Belgian accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Familiar with accounting software such as Bob50 , Winbooks , Horus or equivalent
• Currently registered as an ITAA trainee (stagiaire ITAA) is considered a strong plus

Language

• French is required
• English is a plus

• Liège, Belgium (Hybrid - 2 days of remote work per week)
