FPGA Design Engineer (VHDL) – Aviation Systems Location: Antwerp Employment: Full time (Permanent) We’re partnering with an innovative engineering organisation operating within the aviation sector, supporting the development of advanced communication and data systems used across next-generation aircraft platforms. If you’re motivated by cutting-edge technology and enjoy working in highly technical, multidisciplinary environments, this could be a strong fit. As an FPGA Design Engineer, you’ll contribute to the development of high-performance communication and signal processing systems used in aviation applications. This includes working on complex data acquisition, transmission, and processing solutions. Design and implement FPGA subsystems using VHDL Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams Support debugging and troubleshooting of FPGA designs Document designs, processes, and test results Master’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience) Strong experience with VHDL and FPGA development Solid understanding of digital logic, timing constraints & clock domains Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach Work on advanced aviation technologies with real-world impact Join a highly skilled, collaborative engineering environment
