A lot of manual labour goes into reading incoming requests, processing emails and attachments from central mailboxes, forwarding to colleagues, scheduling and prioritizing tasks and archiving information into insurance back-office systems.
Our Agentic AI Solution reduces friction and brings structure to the biggest bottleneck of insurance operations: the Mailroom.

Role
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Paperbox, you'll play a key role in driving our growth. You'll be the first point of contact for potential customers. Responsible for prospecting, outreach, and qualifying leads to build a strong pipeline. You'll be the face of Paperbox for insurers and brokers, sparking curiosity around how our solution can transform their operations. Working closely with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, you'll help us expand our footprint and open new doors.
This is a full-time role with flexibility for remote work and regular travel within the focus market.

Today, with more than 75 insurance customers , we’re entering a true scale-up phase . We’re growing fast, with the ambition to double our ARR , and we’re looking for someone who wants to help put oil on that fire and guide us to the next level.

Your responsibilities
Sales & Market Development (SDR)
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities through outbound and inbound outreach
- Execute targeted prospecting campaigns towards insurers and brokers
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified meetings for Account Executives
- Identify innovators and early adopters to create market momentum
- Maintain accurate activity and pipeline tracking in HubSpot
Sales Execution
- Run structured discovery and qualification conversations to assess fit and potential
- Apply proven outreach frameworks (email, LinkedIn, calls) to drive engagement
- Position Paperbox’s value proposition clearly and concisely in early-stage conversations
- Ensure high-quality handoff of qualified opportunities to Account Executives
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Marketing on campaigns, sequences, and events
- Share market feedback and insights to refine messaging and targeting
- Support event preparation and follow-up to maximize pipeline generation
- Represent Paperbox in early-stage conversations with prospects in the Netherland
You are a great fit if you have
Commercial Drive (Hunter!)
- Ability to run consultative, value-based sales processes
- B2B SaaS/Enterprise Software sales experience is a plus
- Proven track record of hitting and exceeding quota
- Strong hunter mentality – you love prospecting and opening new doors
Sales Excellence
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English (French is a plus )
- Ability to engage and qualify multiple stakeholders via different channels
- Comfortable working with CRM tools and tracking your activity (HubSpot experience a plus)
- Resilience and a positive attitude in the face of rejection
Collaboration & Growth Mindset
- Entrepreneurial spirit: self-starter who thrives in a scale-up environment
- Team player who works well across Marketing, Product, and Customer Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- Native Dutch proficiency
- Experience in insurance or financial services industry
