The project:

Our client in the Banking sector, is seeking an experienced Project Leader Life Insurance Invest to strengthen their team.

The job in a nutshell:

Based on your domain expertise, you guide the projects to a more client centric or efficient service offering and organization that support the strategy implementation and innovative trends in the financial sector.

You functionally lead a project team. You coach and coordinate team members and transversal project members to enforce a project management way of working, encourage cooperation, increase overall performance, autonomous working and provide feedback. You moderate discussions. You act as a servant leader.

You will work in a mission Team which works according to the scrum methodology.

Is this you?

• You speak Dutch or French and understand the other language.
• You can speak English
• You understand the life insurance domain, its technologies and its operations, products, and services on an operational and tactical level.
• You master project management methods/techniques.
• You know about and ensure qualitative solutions using different testing techniques.
• You challenge and improve the team processes/tools and you guide your the team through the changes.
• You suggest and facilitate continuous improvements and does the follow up of the implementation.
• You have an impact on the whole technology organization.
• You initiate, coordinate, and manage the scoping, planning, analysis, design, build, testing & delivery, communication and change management of strategic domain projects. You perform and lead the analysis and you design features
• You ensure that the projects are delivered on time, within budget and respecting the desired quality level.
• You facilitate the activities of the Project Team.
• Your stakeholders also consist of external parties, other teams and management.
• You work closely with stakeholders during the project. You make sure all stakeholders share the same vision.
• You make or challenge the business case.
• You identify opportunities or risks/unknowns and look for solutions.
• You cooperate in setting up the test scenario's with test team and end users.
• You make detailed and consolidated reporting to stakeholders & team leader highlighting attention points suggesting & implementing solutions.
• You support the team in removing impediments hindering the project. You support the team in case of incidents.
• You show a consistent record of very strong leadership.
• You build leaders and act as a multiplier who shares knowledge and delegates to help others grow.
• You foster a knowledge sharing culture by motivating colleagues to frequently share knowledge/demonstrate best practices.
