Freelance AI Engineer - Automation and Vibe Coding

Contract Details

• Job Title: Freelance AI Engineer / Vibe Coder
• 12-month freelance contract
• Hybrid working model: 1 day per week onsite in Brussels, 4 days remote
• Hours: 40 Hours/week
• English-speaking environment (French is a bonus)

We are partnering with an innovative Belgian technology company operating in a highly regulated, fast-scaling industry. They are looking for a highly practical, business-minded Freelance AI Engineer / Vibe Coder to help rapidly prototype, automate, and operationalise AI workflows across the organisation.

This is not a traditional enterprise engineering role. The ideal candidate is someone who ships fast, thinks commercially, and knows how to leverage modern AI tooling to solve real business problems quickly.

Key Responsibilities -

• Build and deploy AI-driven workflows and automations
• Prototype internal AI products and operational tools
• Create no-code / low-code AI solutions using modern AI tooling
• Design and implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) workflows
• Integrate LLMs into business processes and operational systems
• Develop lightweight Python services and automations where needed
• Work directly with stakeholders to identify high-value AI opportunities
• Rapidly test, iterate, and improve AI-assisted workflows
• Translate business challenges into practical AI solutions
• Help establish scalable AI best practices internally
