Industrial Autonomy & Engineering Unit (IA&E) Location: The Business Development Director – Belgium will be responsible for driving strategic growth, revenue expansion, and market positioning of the Industrial Autonomy & Engineering Unit in Belgium.
The role focuses on building and scaling IA&E business across Belgian industrial and infrastructure enterprises , including manufacturing, energy & utilities, chemicals, transportation, logistics, and public infrastructure. The position requires a strong blend of market development, executive engagement, deal origination, and ecosystem collaboration, positioning IA&E as a trusted partner for industrial autonomy, digital engineering, and Industry 4.0 transformation.

Own and execute the Belgium market growth strategy for Industrial Autonomy & Engineering services.
· Identify and develop new growth opportunities across key Belgian industrial sectors.
· Build and sustain CXO-level and senior stakeholder relationships with key Belgian customers.
· Lead new logo acquisition and expansion of strategic accounts.
· Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industrial digitalization, autonomy, and engineering transformation.
Sales & Deal Leadership
· Own the end-to-end sales lifecycle for large and complex opportunities:
Drive positioning and sales of IA&E offerings, including:
o Industrial autonomy and automation
o AI/ML-enabled industrial platforms
o Industrial OEMs and EPCs
o Hyperscalers and industrial software partners
· Collaborate closely with account teams, solution architects, delivery leaders, and global IA&E stakeholders.
· Qualified sales pipeline and win ratio
· New logo wins and strategic account expansion
· Deal quality, margin, and sustainability
· 12+ years of experience in business development, sales leadership, or account management within:
o Industrial digitalization
Proven track record of closing large, complex B2B deals with industrial customers.
· Strong understanding of the Belgian industrial and institutional ecosystem.
Solid exposure to:
o Industrial autonomy and automation
o Industry 4.0, AI, and data-driven industrial solutions
· Ability to translate technical capabilities into business-focused value propositions.
Strong executive presence and communication skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Business
· Language & Location Requirements
· Fluent in English (mandatory)
· French and/or Dutch language skills are strongly preferred
· IA&E established as a strategic partner for leading Belgian industrial and infrastructure enterprises
