Senior Creative Strategist (Freelance)
This is not a standard strategist role.
We are looking for a senior profile who can think, create and lead — someone who combines sharp business understanding, strong creative instinct and a real sense of design.
You don’t just generate ideas.
You build coherent brand systems that make sense across channels, deliver impact, and hold creatively over time.
What you bring
- 5+ years in a creative / advertising agency
- A track record of strong concepts that actually made it into the real world
- The ability to move from business challenge → insight → concept → execution logic
- A strong sensitivity to design, visual consistency and brand identity systems
- Proven experience in building omnichannel strategies
- → with clear roles per channel
- → and relevant messaging per touchpoint
- A solid understanding of media logic and budget implications
- The ability to challenge clients intelligently (not just push back, but elevate)
- You are trilingual: FR / NL / EN
- You are comfortable leading and elevating creative teams
Your role
- Lead the development of creative strategies and campaign territories
- Build coherent brand ecosystems (not just campaigns)
- Define what to say, where, and why across channels
- Ensure consistency between strategy, concept, design and execution
- Guide the creative team towards stronger, sharper output
- Bring unexpected, but relevant thinking
- Present with clarity, authority and structure
