We are currently looking for a Team Leader – KYC / AML to support one of our clients in the financial services sector .

Mission Context

The Team Leader is responsible for supervising a team of analysts performing KYC and AML activities , ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, optimizing processes, and maintaining high-quality standards in client onboarding and ongoing monitoring of high-risk clients.

Function Description

Team Leadership & Management

• Supervise and coach a team of KYC / AML analysts , ensuring effective task allocation, performance monitoring, and professional development.
• Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment , promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Compliance & Risk Oversight

• Oversee client onboarding, periodic reviews, and high-risk monitoring , ensuring adherence to KYC/AML regulations.
• Identify potential risks and suspicious activity patterns , escalating issues and ensuring timely remediation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AML regulations and industry best practices and implement process improvements.

Process Optimization & Reporting

• Develop, maintain, and enforce operational procedures, workflows, and documentation to ensure consistent team execution.
• Produce structured reports and dashboards to inform management on compliance status, risk exposure, and team performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline processes and improve the efficiency of client onboarding and monitoring.

Language Requirements

• English: Fluent
• French: Knowledge is a plus
• Dutch: Knowledge is a plus

Education & Experience

• Proven experience in KYC/AML operations and regulatory compliance
• Strong team leadership and people management experience
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Team player with a coaching and servant-leader mindset
