SAP FICO Solution Architect

Brussels / Hybrid / Contract - 3 Month (Renewable)

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and implement end-to-end financial solutions (General Ledger, AP/AR, Controlling, Asset Accounting) within SAP ERP and S/4HANA systems, aligning them with business strategy.
• Bridge the needs with technical architecture, governing design standards, conducting fit-gap analyses.
• Oversee integration with modules like MM, SD, and PP and other business applications (capex management, tagetik, CPM/EPM, payment hub).
• Acts as a global expert for SAP Finance (R2R) topics and a key driver of global standardization, data quality, and adoption across regions.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of SAP Finance (R2R) experience, including hands-on solution design and configuration. 5+ years in a senior architect / lead role in global or multi-region environments. Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Exposure to master data governance approaches; SimpleMDG, SAP MDG or any other MDM system.
• Experience in global enterprise, ideally in manufacturing domain.

SAP & Technical Expertise:

• Strong FI knowledge: GL, AP, AR, AA
• Strong CO knowledge: Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, CO-PA
• Understanding of integration patterns and technologies (OData/REST, APIs, SAP Integration Suite).
• Familiarity with SAP BTP is a plus).
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology, SAP certification in FI/CO or S/4HANA Finance are pluses.
