We are partnering with a well-established and fast-growing international business based in Waregem to hire a Financial Controller who will play a key role in shaping the company’s financial future. This is more than a reporting role — it’s an opportunity to become a trusted partner to leadership, influence strategic decisions, and help scale a high-performing finance function in a dynamic environment. If you enjoy combining hands-on financial control with business partnering and process improvement, this role offers the perfect balance. As Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the company’s financial reporting, compliance and performance insights while supporting strategic growth. Financial reporting & control Manage audits and act as the key point of contact for external auditors Translate financial data into clear insights for senior management Provide financial guidance for new projects and investments Drive automation and continuous improvement in finance processes Help professionalise and scale the finance function Team collaboration Work closely with accounting, operations and leadership teams Act as a trusted sparring partner for the Finance Director/CEO We’re seeking a proactive finance professional who enjoys ownership, collaboration and making an impact. 5+ years in finance/controlling/audit ~ Strong financial reporting and analytical skills ~ Experience in an international or fast-growing environment is a plus ~ Audit or Big 4 background is highly valued Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus) Opportunity to modernise and shape the finance function
