Job Title: Supply Chain Planner (Freelance)

Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid)

Contract Duration: 12 months (Freelance)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planner to join a leading global organisation in the pharmaceutical sector. This is a 12-month freelance opportunity based in Brussels, offering a dynamic, international work environment and the chance to contribute to critical supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage supply plans to ensure product availability while optimising inventory levels
• Coordinate with manufacturing sites, distribution centres and external partners
• Monitor demand forecasts and adjust supply plans accordingly
• Identify and mitigate supply risks and constraints
• Lead or support S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes
• Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, quality, and commercial teams
• Analyse KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain

Requirements

• Proven experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, or similar roles
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., pharmaceuticals, biotech, or healthcare) is highly preferred
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP/APO/IBP) and advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a freelance capacity

Languages

• Fluent in English (mandatory)
• French and/or Dutch (professional working proficiency preferred)

Working Setup
