Context
We are looking for a Data Engineer passionate about data, cloud technologies, and innovative solutions. You will join a dynamic and agile team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, data architectures, and analytical models on the Microsoft data platform.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and implement data collection, storage, transformation, and delivery solutions using Microsoft Azure services (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Fabric, Databricks, Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Blob Storage).
- Develop and optimize: SQL queries (T-SQL), Python scripts, Spark notebooks, ETL / ELT processes to ensure data quality, reliability, and performance.
- Design, develop, and deploy Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using: SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
- Contribute to the design of data models (relational, star schema, Data Vault) in collaboration with the Data Architect.
- Work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in the design and documentation of data architectures, models, and data flows.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, security, and data privacy standards.
- Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot data solutions.

Profile & Experience
- Experience: 5–9 years
- Strong experience in data engineering within Microsoft/Azure environments
- Master’s degree in IT, Data, or equivalent
- Languages : Dutch (C1 minimum), English (C1 minimum),French is a plus
- Certifications (Required) : Microsoft Fabric (Data / Analytics), Databricks, Microsoft Power BI Data Engineering (Azure)
