Revenue Manager


Challenge Group is an international Group of companies within the Aviation industry. The group is experiencing significant growth, and as a result a Revenue Manager position is currently available. Whilst reporting to the Head of Network Planning, Alliances & Revenue Management, the Revenue Manager will drive revenue optimization through strategic pricing, route management, and capacity control across the air cargo network.

Responsibilities include:

Pricing Strategy & Control

  • Design and implement dynamic pricing models based on demand, capacity, and competitive factors
  • Manage and maintain rate structures for commodities, weight breaks, and service levels (e.g., mark-ups).
  • Adjust pricing to optimize revenue and ensure competitiveness in key markets.
  • Define pricing strategies for road feeder services (RFS), including feed and de-feed segments.

Route Management

  • Steer bid prices to balance competitiveness and revenue maximization.
  • Set access prices by route and customer segment to drive profitability.
  • Configure capacity settings (SPAV) and allotments to ensure optimal utilization across products and partners.
  • Forecast demand and manage overbooking levels on a route-by-route basis.

System & Tool Management

  • Operate and configure Revenue Management Systems (RMS), dynamic pricing engines, and booking platforms.
  • Maintain system rate sheets, capacity settings, and pricing parameters.
  • Ensure data integrity across revenue, sales, finance, and planning systems.

Education:

  • Minimum requirement: BA in Economy/ Industrial Engineer or equivalent degree in relevant subject.

Experience, Skills and Personal Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Logistics, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in revenue management in air cargo
  • Strong analytical and data modeling skills; advanced Excel or BI tools experience.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders across departments.
  • Strong communication skills and a commercial mindset.
  • High-level English required and high interpersonal communication.
  • Teamwork ability.
  • Work under pressure.
  • Order and organization abilities.
