Platform Support Engineer – Internal Developer Platform

About the Role

We are looking for a Platform Support Engineer to join a growing Internal Developer Platform team supporting business-critical cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes environments.

This role focuses on platform stability, operational excellence, and incident management within a modern Azure-based platform ecosystem.

This is an opportunity to join a newly formed operational support function within an established engineering organisation, with strong collaboration, mentoring, and long-term growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Azure and Kubernetes-related issues
• Ensure platform availability, stability, and operational performance
• Monitor platform health, observability, and alerting systems
• Perform root cause analysis across infrastructure and Kubernetes environments
• Proactively identify risks and issues before they impact users
• Support internal development teams during onboarding and platform migrations
• Collaborate closely with engineering and delivery teams
• Contribute to operational improvements, documentation, and support processes

Technical Skills

• Professional experience with Microsoft Azure environments
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container platforms
• Experience troubleshooting Kubernetes-based environments
• Experience configuring and supporting cloud infrastructure
• Understanding of development workflows and modern software delivery practices

• GitHub Actions experience
• CI/CD pipeline knowledge
• DevOps tooling and automation exposure
• Experience with monitoring and observability tooling
