Scrum Master

Nexeo is looking for a Cluster Scrum Master to support one of its clients in the banking sector, a leading financial institution undergoing a large-scale digital transformation to deliver innovative, customer-centric digital banking experiences. Mission Context

The Cluster Scrum Master operates within a large Agile Tribe focused on digital channels and customer experience. The role is responsible for coordinating the delivery of complex, cross-squad initiatives, ensuring alignment between business priorities, IT delivery, and Agile governance in a highly regulated environment.

Function Description

• Act as single point of accountability for end-to-end delivery of a cluster of Agile squads

• Coordinate cross-squad planning, dependencies, risks, and delivery alignment

• Ensure delivery of epics and features in line with roadmaps, KPIs, and business priorities

• Monitor delivery performance using Agile metrics (velocity, flow, cycle time, burn-up/down)

• Facilitate cluster-level Agile ceremonies (Scrum of Scrums, QAP, refinement, delivery boards)

• Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks and impediments in collaboration with stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with Agile frameworks, governance standards, and regulatory constraints

• Coach Scrum Masters and squads on Agile best practices and continuous improvement

• Foster transparency, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making across squads

Language Requirements

• Dutch: Strong asset

• French: Strong asset

• English: Mandatory

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience

Technical & Functional Skills

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT / digital delivery in complex environments

• Strong experience in Agile program or cluster management at scale

• Proven stakeholder management with senior business and IT profiles

• Strong knowledge of governance, risk, and dependency management

• Experience in regulated industries, ideally banking or financial services

• Understanding of SDLC, DevOps, and digital delivery (API, mobile, front-end) is a plus

• Knowledge of banking processes (payments, lending, customer journeys) is an asset
