Are you a natural leader with a passion for high-end hospitality and a sharp eye for detail? We are looking for a Head of Service to lead the front‑of‑house operations for our signature restaurant, eppo , while overseeing the diverse culinary pulse of YUST Antwerp . Ranging from our renowned rooftop sessions and weekend brunches to curated events and breakfast service.
ROLE & TEAM
In this position, you report directly to the Food & Events Manager . You will work in close collaboration with the Head Chef to ensure a perfect synergy between the kitchen and the restaurant floor.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Team Leadership: Lead and supervise the front‑of‑house team, ensuring smooth and professional service operations.
- Guest Management: Manage guest reception and reservations to maintain a high‑quality flow.
- Mentorship: Train, mentor, and inspire staff to uphold our service and presentation standards.
- Administration & Finance: Responsible for monthly staff scheduling, FOH payroll, cash counting, and till processing procedures.
- Stock & Inventory: Oversee monthly stock‑taking, inventory control, and support menu changes.
GOT THE SKILLS?
- You have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar leadership role.
- Experience in a fine dining environment is essential.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Ability to perform and lead under pressure.
- Excellent knowledge of food and wine is a significant plus.
