The Role

As Credit Controller Europe, you will play a critical role within a Global Business Services (GBS) operating model, managing credit risk and enabling smooth order release across the European region. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and Collections to protect financial integrity while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Credit Management & Risk Control

• Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers using financial analysis and internal tools
• Enforce credit policies in line with SOX compliance and internal controls
• Monitor credit limits, payment terms, and customer master data

Order Release

• Oversee order release processes, ensuring compliance with credit limits and aging thresholds

GBS Quote to Cash Integration

• Operate within a structured GBS QTC framework supporting end‑to‑end service delivery
• Contribute to QTC initiatives, including HighRadius for cash management and collections

Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and local teams to resolve credit issues and enable growth
• Provide insight and reporting on credit performance and risk exposure to senior stakeholders

Continuous Improvement

• Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities across the QTC lifecycle
• Support digital automation and innovation projects to enhance credit operations

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in credit control (multinational or shared services environment preferred)
• Strong analytical capability and experience with credit management systems
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
• SAP S/4HANA knowledge is a strong advantage
