KYC/AML Officer

Nexeo is currently looking for a KYC Coordinator for one of the leading financial institutions in Brussels.

Nexeo is a consulting company supporting clients in the banking, finance, and insurance sectors throughout their transformation projects, from business consulting to IT implementation.

Mission Context

As part of regulatory Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, you will be involved in the recertification of international Corporate Banking clients (turnover > €7.5M).

The mission focuses on ensuring the accurate and compliant update of KYC files , taking into account legal requirements and cross-border aspects.

Your Responsibilities

As a KYC Coordinator , you will:

• Manage a portfolio of KYC files and ensure their full update
• Analyze required information and documentation depending on client type
• Proactively contact clients and follow up to ensure timely collection of required documents
• Ensure completeness and compliance of files before validation
• Input and update data in internal systems
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Compliance teams to resolve issues
• Provide regular progress updates and escalate risks or blockers when needed
• Communicate with clients in French, Dutch, and English

Expected Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Economics, Business, Law or equivalent)
• Experience in KYC / AML , ideally with corporate clients
• Good understanding of the banking sector and regulatory requirements
• Strong proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with IT tools
• Excellent communication skills in French, Dutch, and English
