About the role

As a Virtualization & Storage System Engineer, you ensure the performance, availability, and reliability of critical infrastructure. You manage virtualization and backup environments and contribute to the design and implementation of new solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Nutanix (AHV) and VMware environments
• Provide L2/L3 support for virtualization and backup platforms
• Design and manage backup, archiving, and data protection solutions
• Define and monitor SLAs, RPOs, and RTOs
• Automate provisioning, deployments, and operational tasks
• Contribute to Disaster Recovery planning and testing
• Monitor performance, capacity, and storage usage

Your profile

• 7+ years experience in virtualization/system engineering
• Strong expertise in Nutanix AHV and VMware
• Solid knowledge of backup, storage (SAN), and Windows Server
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals
• Experience with automation and monitoring tools
• Fluent in Dutch or French + good knowledge of the other + English
