Tribe Test Engineer Brussels (Hybrid)

Brussels (Montagne du Parc) 50% onsite / 50% remote

Start: June 2026 | End: December 2026

Are you a seasoned Test Automation expert ready to take ownership at scale? We’re looking for a Tribe Test Engineer to drive quality across 30 Agile squads within a large-scale digital environment.

As a key player in the Tribe, you’ll lead and evolve the test automation strategy, ensuring high-quality, seamless digital experiences. You’ll operate at the intersection of technology, strategy, and collaboration, influencing squads and leadership alike.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Define and enhance test automation strategy across the Tribe
• Oversee API & UI automation (Playwright, RestAssured, Cucumber…)
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Drive data-based improvements using automation metrics
• Align stakeholders and communicate clearly on risks & progress
• Facilitate workshops and promote best practices (BDD, shift-left testing)
• Act as escalation point for automation challenges

Experience & Qualifications

• 5+ years in test management & automation
• Strong experience with:
• API testing & service virtualization (WireMock, Karate…)
• UI automation (Playwright, Appium)
• Test frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber)
• CI/CD & DevOps environments
• Proven experience in large-scale Agile organizations
• Strong communication & stakeholder management skills
• Experience in regulated environments is a plus

Languages

• English (mandatory)
• Dutch and/or French (strong assets)
