Freelance Frontend Developer

The Role

We are looking for a Front End Developer with strong expertise in Angular Material and modern Angular-based UI development to design and deliver high-quality, user-centric web applications. The role focuses on building consistent, accessible, and responsive interfaces using Angular Material components and design principles.

The ideal candidate combines solid front-end engineering skills with hands-on experience in SharePoint environments and works closely with UX designers, backend developers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and intuitive digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end applications using Angular with a strong emphasis on Angular Material
• Build and customize UI components based on Angular Material, Material Design guidelines, and theming
• Implement responsive, accessible, and consistent user interfaces using Angular Material, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into clean, reusable Angular Material components
• Integrate front-end components with REST APIs and backend services
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and accessibility (WCAG-friendly)
• Optimize UI performance, usability, and maintainability
• Collaborate closely with UX designers, backend developers, and stakeholders in Agile/Scrum teams
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end best practices and UI standards

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Angular Material
• Solid understanding of Material Design concepts, theming, and component customization
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• HTML5 & CSS3
• Strong UI development and responsive design experience
• REST API integration
• Version control systems (e.g. Git)

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Front End Developer
• Strong focus on UI development using Angular and Angular Material
• Solid understanding of modern front-end architecture and best practices
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
