Finance Manager

For an international manufacturing group, we are supporting the search for a Finance Manager.

In this role you're responsible for all consolidation, accounting and reporting activities for the Group, including the preparation of high quality reports for the Group Finance Manager & CFO.

You will work closely with the Group Finance Manager, the Group Business Controlling Director, CFO and members of the Leadership Team to support the organization’s growth, development and operational performance.

Your responsibilities:

• Ensuring accurate bookkeeping, managing the consolidation and preparing financial statements according to IFRS (Dutch GAAP, IFRS for SME);
• Updating and maintaining accounting policies;
• Managing the entire budget and forecasting process for Group companies;
• Ensuring proper implementation of transfer pricing policies;
• Safeguarding for compliance with internal control policies and relevant legislation;
• Leading and supporting the Chief Accountants across the Group;
• Collaborating closely with the Group Business Controlling Director on accounting policies, reporting matters, audit process and technical accounting topics;
• Preparing and presenting financial performance reports for banks, credit insurers and other financial stakeholders, in close cooperation with the Group Treasurer;
• Assisting in tax matters and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations;
• Assisting ERP implementation projects and ensuring integration with financial processes;
• Serving as main point of contact for external auditors.

Your profile:

Skills:

• A completed Master’s degree in Finance or a related field, with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification considered a strong plus;
• Demonstrating proven experience in leading teams within a senior FP&A role.
• Communicating fluently in English, both verbally and in writing, as a mandatory requirement

Experience:

• 7+ years relevant experience in a financial role covering reporting & consolidation;
• Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence and executive presence-ability to motivate staff;
• Experience in a Big Four accountancy firm and/or an international manufacturing company is a strong advantage.
