The European Schools are an intergovernmental organisation offering multilingual and multicultural education.
Job description The role consists of assisting the class teacher in working with one or more pupils.
Profile · Excellent command of Dutch. · Knowledge of French and/or English.
· High school diploma (Baccalaureate) a specific qualification for this role. · Candidates must have the necessary skills to care for young children.
· Experience in the field of education, particularly with children with special needs, will be considered an asset.
Offer · Start date: 1st September 2026
· Type of contract: Fixed-term contract until 31 August 2028 with possibility of extension (subject to certain conditions).
· Schedule: Your working time (33.08 hours) will be distributed from Monday to Friday.
· Remuneration: A minimum gross monthly salary of 1.998,09 € based on a position of 22.08 hours per week and including all school holidays. The exact grade and step will be determined based on the number of years of relevant experience and on decision of the management.
· Workplace: European School Brussels III - Boulevard du Triomphe, 135 / BE -1050 Brussels
