Scrum Master

Nexeo is currently looking for a Cluster Scrum Master for one of the leading financial institutions in Belgium.

As a Cluster Scrum Master, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Cluster Delivery & Governance

• Act as the owner of end-to-end delivery for a cluster of Agile squads within a digital banking tribe
• Structure and prioritize complex delivery initiatives (epics, features) aligned with business strategy
• Ensure cross-squad coordination and proactively manage dependencies, risks, and impediments
• Monitor delivery performance (KPIs, burn-up/down, risks) and report to senior stakeholders / Tribe Management
• Ensure compliance with Agile frameworks, delivery standards, and regulatory requirements

Agile Coaching & Continuous Improvement

• Coach and mentor Scrum Masters and Agile teams to improve maturity and delivery efficiency
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and transparency
• Facilitate cluster-level Agile ceremonies (Scrum of Scrums, QAP, refinement sessions, delivery boards)
• Drive data-driven decision making using Agile metrics (velocity, cycle time, flow efficiency)
• Support teams in backlog refinement and prioritization

Stakeholder & Transformation Management

• Act as a bridge between business, IT, and leadership , ensuring alignment on priorities and delivery roadmap
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Tribe Leads, and senior stakeholders
• Translate business strategy into actionable delivery plans
• Ensure smooth communication and visibility across all levels of the organization

Profile

• Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience , including strong experience in Agile delivery / project management
• Proven experience in complex digital/IT environments , ideally within banking or regulated industries
• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and scaling Agile environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills , including interaction with senior leadership
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage risks, dependencies, and priorities
• Knowledge of banking processes (payments, lending, digital channels) is a strong plus
• Familiarity with DevOps, APIs, digital delivery, and SDLC is an asset
• Excellent level of English + French or Dutch
