HR Systems Lead / HRIS Manager for high-tech manufacturing group | Global HR Systems Ownership | Vision, Defense, Aerospace, Research


For our client, one of Europe's fastest growing high-tech manufacturing groups active in vision, research, defense & security, we are looking for an HR Systems Lead / HRIS Manager in Leuven (hybrid setup). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HRIS / HR Technology professional who wants to take ownership of building and shaping a global HR systems landscape in a highly practical, business-driven and high growth environment. Your mission will be to take ownership of building and shaping the global HR systems landscape from the ground up. You will work closely with the Group IT Director, HR leadership, and international stakeholders across multiple business units. Drive the design, implementation, and optimization of the new global HR systems landscape Lead HRIS implementation and transformation projects end-to-end (Core HR, Talent, Compensation, Payroll) Take ownership of the HR systems roadmap in a context with evolving structures and limited predefined frameworks Ensure strong alignment between HR systems, processes, and business requirements Manage integrations between HR systems and enterprise platforms (ERP, finance, identity management, payroll providers) Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance (GDPR and local regulations) Act as key interface between HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors Support user adoption and continuous improvement of HR processes and systems Define reporting structures and enable data-driven HR decision-making 5–10 years of experience in HRIS, HR technology, or enterprise systems ~ Proven experience with Workday, Oracle HCM, or comparable cloud-based HR systems ~ Strong understanding of HR processes (Core HR, Talent, Compensation, Payroll) ~ Experience with integrations (APIs, middleware) and data structures ~ Strong stakeholder management skills across HR and IT ~ Fluent English; Dutch and or French is a plus ~ A high-impact role with real ownership in one of Europe's fastest growing international industrial group Direct collaboration with Group IT and HR leadership Opportunity to shape and develop the HR systems roadmap from an early stage
