Business Analyst

NEXEO is currently looking for a Business Analyst – Life Insurance for a mission based in Brussels, with a hybrid working setup.

We are seeking an experienced consultant to support strategic transformation and migration projects within the Life Insurance domain, in collaboration with a leading insurance company.

Mission Overview

You will join the Business Change & Monitoring team , working on life insurance portfolio migration projects (VERDI) as well as commercial development initiatives.

You will act as a key interface between business and IT , ensuring smooth delivery of complex transformation projects in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

• Analyze product and process differences between source and target systems in life insurance migration projects
• Gather, define, and formalize business and functional requirements
• Assess impacts of migration on processes and operations
• Ensure clear alignment between business and IT stakeholders

Testing

• Prepare and execute functional, process, and calculation tests
• Ensure quality and consistency of deliverables

Monitoring & Coordination

• Act as a bridge between business and IT teams
• Provide regular reporting on project progress and risks
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders (IT, Operations, Business, Distribution)
• Build strong relationships with internal and external partners

Profile Required

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong experience in the Life Insurance sector
• Mandatory knowledge of individual life insurance products (“Classique”)
• Experience with insurance migration projects is a strong asset
• Familiarity with business/process analysis methodologies

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and structured mindset
• Excellent communication with both technical and business stakeholders
• Autonomous, proactive, and solution-oriented
• Detail-oriented with the ability to keep a big-picture view
• Strong organizational and priority management skills
• Client-focused and results-driven

Languages

• French: fluent
• English: professional proficiency
• Dutch: a plus
